Old Testament

Genesis 1:1

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 

Deuteronomy 6:4

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.

Psalm 100:3

Know ye that the Lord he is God: — it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; — we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Exodus 3:13,14

And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.

Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 59:16

And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him: and his righteousness, it sustained him. 

Micah 5:2

But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet our of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Zechariah 12:10

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is bitterness for his firstborn. 

Malachi 3:1

New Testament

John 1:1-3

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

John 1:14

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 10:11

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sleep.

Colossians 1:15; 2:9

Who is the image of the invisible God, — for in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Colossians 1:16

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.

John 8:56-58

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou are not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?

Matthew 1:23
