As members of the body of Christ, our church family considers all opportunities to work with other Biblical based groups of the ministry of Jesus Christ through spiritual, physical and financial support.

Also, as a member of the body of Christ, Abiding Word Fellowship have been led by God to provide continual material and financial support to the following ministering organizations in our local community:

HOME OF GRACE FOR WOMEN – EIGHT MILE, ALABAMA

Mission: Our mission is to provide a comprehensive alcohol and drug recovery program for females ages 18 and up. We provide a twelve week residential program that embraces all aspects of addiction and recovery, including spirituality. Our goal is to help addicted females recover from their addiction, be restored with their families, encourage them to further their education as appropriate, and to live a life that is chemically free.

Mission: Mission of Hope Ministries, Haven of Hope.located in Mobile, Alabama, is a three month, in care, Christian program designed to minister to the men and women who are addicted to drugs or alcohol. The program for men is called Mission of Hope. We have two locations for ladies: Haven of Hope and Taylor House. Both are in Mobile County, Alabama.

Mission of Hope Ministries does not charge for their services and is totally funded by churches, individuals, and businesses who have a heart for helping those who are suffering from addictions.

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES – MOBILE, ALABAMA

Mission: Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile provides a supportive home environment offering care, compassion, and hope to families with seriously ill and injured children being treated at area hospitals.

Mission: Victory Health Partners is a faith based 501 (c)(3) nonprofit healthcare organization providing affordable quality care for low income uninsured adults in the greater Mobile area. VHP does not accept insurance or any government funding.

Mission: The mission of Wilmer Hall Children’s Home is to provide a safe home for children and young adults in need due to poverty, abuse, neglect, and homelessness. We serve all children and young adults without regard to race, ethnicity, or religion. 

Wilmer Hall extends warm and nurturing care to every child and young adult in its care, ensuring they are surrounded by people who love and support them. Our goal is to help young people succeed in four areas: physical health, emotional stability, academic achievement and spiritual maturity.

Wilmer Hall serves children and young adults through five programs: the Residential Living Program, the Transitional Living Program, the Transitional Family Program, the on-campus Education Program, and the Community-Based Education Program.
